BLKBRD Collective provide creative arts workshops for students and community to groups to develop skills in visual communication, especially design and painting skills. We seek to imbue developing artists with the skills to confidently visualise their experiences, dreams and goals. The gallery below highlights some of our collaborators and creations that have marked the journey.

BLKBRD x Action for Refugees Lewisham x Greenwich Inclusion Group x Barnet Refugee Service x National Maritime Museum
BLKBRD Collective collaborated with Action for Refugees Lewisham, Greenwich Inclusion Group and Barnet refugee service to create a series of images responding to the themes of home and special places. the collaborative artwork was generated from art workshops, hosted by BLKBRD, The artwork, produced by young people and families , supported by the aforementioned migrant community groups, was collected and remixed by BLKBRD collective to forma public arts installation at the National Maritime Museum.

violence in the community
BLKBRD x Tutorial Foundation.
BLKBRD Collective were invited to the Tutorial Foundation to deliver an arts workshop, encouraging students to express themselves visually around the topic of violence in the community. Using a similar planning and design and planning methodology deployed for the Stay Strong Murals, we assisted students in becoming more confident drawing and painting from imagination. the Tutorial foundation now has ten unique pieces of work that will serve as legacies to the unlimited potential of the bright minds that move through their corridors. Each work will be hung in a permanent gallery in the school’s recreation space, ready to inspire the next generation of students.
